  Opening
· First appearance on Young Town for Yokoyama Reina
Sanma: Kudo is 17 years old, and Yokoyama here today is 16 years old...but there's a huge difference. I don't know if it's that Kudo seems more mature, or Yokoyama seems too childish...
Kudo: But Yokoyama hasn’t even been in the entertainment world for a year yet, so maybe that's why?
Sanma: People don't tell you you look 16, right?
Yokoyama: They say I look like I'm about 13.
Murakami: You've got that middle-school vibe.
Sanma: So how does it feel to be on Young Town?
Yokoyama: Right now my heart feels like it's going to jump out. I'm so nervous.
Sanma: You were grinning and staring at me the whole time I was eating gyudon, and honestly, that was kinda creepy.
Yokoyama: Sorry! (laughs)

"To get straight to the point" corner
· Sanma: You've really got the kind of face that matches the name "Reina".
Yokoyama: Thank you very much. That makes me happy. (laughs

· Yokoyama is from Saitama. Her nickname is "Yokoyan".
Sanma: Has it become normal now to add -yan to someone's name? Back in the day in Kansai we'd say things like "Yokoyan" but in Tokyo they would absolutely never do that. Shows just how much Osaka dialect has spread all over Japan now.

In high school baseball, the Saitama representative Hanamaki Tokuei won the championship.
Sanma: That was Saitama's first summer championship, right?
Kudo Yokoyama: Yes, first time!
Sanma: I was really surprised. There are so many strong schools like Kasukabe Kyoei and others.

Yokoyama's special skill is the alto saxophone. She was in the brass band in junior high school and even went to the national tournament.
Sanma: In the nationals, how far did you get?
Yokoyama: In the nationals... we came in last place. (laughs)
Sanma: Last place? (laughs) What was different compared to the better schools?
Yokoyama: Skill, of course, but also the quality of the instruments. The price of the instrument really makes a difference.
Sanma: Hahaha! Exactly right!
Murakami: Were your instruments old ones?
Yokoyama: Honestly, they might have been. (laughs)
Sanma: Even the shine is different when they're expensive, right?
Yokoyama: They sparkle... like the other schools’ instruments. (laughs)

· Yokoyama's admired member is Ishida Ayumi. She likes everything about her, especially her face : Her skin is so smooth. When she laughs, her eyes disappear. She scrunches up her face like a cat when she laughs... it’s incredibly cute.

· Yokoyama loves history and is a "rekijo" (female history enthusiast). She likes Sengoku-era warlords, but also the Jomon period.
Yokoyama likes Azai Nagamasa.
Iikubo likes Princess Matsu.
Kudo doesn’t have a favorite warlord, she doesn’t really know much.

· Yokoyama's motto is "Cherish every moment!".
Sanma: Don't make something like that your motto, it's too obvious.
Yokoyama: Yes, that's true... (laughs) I'm actually pretty loose about time, so I try to be careful.
Sanma: Pick another one for your motto.
Yokoyama: Okay, I'll change it. (laughs)

· In high school, Yokoyama is in the "special advanced course".
Sanma: So you're part of the smart ones? Do you plan to go to university?
Yokoyama: Yes, but. maybe not at the moment.
Iikubo: She's not that smart. (laughs)
Kudo: The other day, she read "Shin Chitose Airport" as "Shin Senzai Airport".
Sanma: If you're good with instruments, smart, and cute... you're the type who has a hard time finding happiness.
Yokoyama: The type who can't find happiness? (laughs)
Sanma: You've got too much going on, so it's hard to acknowledge or accept the other person.
Iikubo: She's actually easy to get close to once you know her, she jokes around a lot.
Sanma: Oh, so she becomes more approachable?

· Yokoyama wants to improve her free talk and become an MC who can liven things up. Ever since she was little, she loved standing out. She was class president and committee chair. She loves talking.
Sanma: But you've got Iikubo, who's like "Leave the talking to me".
Yokoyama: Exactly! Iikubo-san is sneaky! She's really good at talking.
Sanma: Do you study variety shows?
Yokoyama: Yes, I watch them all the time. I'm like "Oh, so that’s how you respond when you get teased".
Murakami: "Oh, so that's how you steer the conversation?".
Yokoyama: Yes. But in the end, I can't say it. Iikubo-san takes all the chances. (laughs)
Sanma: She takes them? You should give her some back sometimes!
Iikubo: I'm not taking them! I'm not!

· Yokoyama wants to do everything. She's greedy in that way. She has high goals. She's full of energy and enthusiasm.

· On March 19, in the Morning Musume。'17 Young Town in Nagashima Spa Land "Iyasenai" segment, Yokoyama made it to the finals and put up a good fight against Kudo, who won. For today’s "Iyasenai" corner, Yokoyama says she will give it her all.

· Sports? Yokoyama says she's not good at them at all, except she's good at long-distance running.
· Dance? She says she's slow to learn, but Iikubo says she's fast: Both 13th generation members are excellent.
· Does she want to be leader? Yes.
· Kudo's graduation? She was sad, she cried a lot in the car.

· Iikubo's family
In the Iikubo family, the second daughter is a "girl" type, and the third daughter is an otaku. The second daughter goes out with her belly exposed. She has a belly-button piercing and a tongue piercing. She goes to the currently popular night pools. She's super popular, stylish and cute. When asked "Why don't you audition for Morning Musume?", Iikubo's sister said "No way. I've already got a boyfriend". She's actually very dependable, she saves money and is responsible.

· Kudo is the mentor of the 13th generation. She does cool things effortlessly.

· Yokoyama loves museums. Her family won't go in, they wait outside. She goes with them because she doesn't like taking the train alone.

· Yokoyama and Sanma have things in common: they both like soccer and both like Ishida-san.
Yokoyama: Right now, I'm hooked on the J1 League.
Sanma: J1? Oh, I see... I don't know much about J1. I've already moved on to the world stage.
Yokoyama: Then I'll study more about the world stage.
Sanma: Don't you dare try to talk soccer with me just yet. (laughs)
Yokoyama: I'll do my best! (laughs)

♫ Diffusion "BRAND NEW MORNING" by Morning Musume。'17

  Ending
· Sanma: So Yokoyama, how was it?
Yokoyama: I was really nervous, but I'm so happy to have won the "Let me just say this one last thing corner" corner. I'm really happy right now. (laughs)
